人生真理!?!

今晚同班舊同學聚舊, 好似講左好多真理. 但實際上結論只是吹水. 什麼有壞的才能帶出好; 有黑的才能帶出白; 正的才能帶出負...我話不成立. 更高程度的想法應該是除了好壞之外, 當中還有一點點東西. 如黑白之外還可能有灰`紅`橙`黃`綠`青`藍`紫; 正負之外還有加`減`乘`除; 甜酸苦辣; 高矮肥瘦...一樣米養百樣人; 世事無絕對, 只有真情趣!!!

I had a great time tonight with the treat of my high school friends. Lots have changed in our life but our friendship hasn't change at all! Keep in touch forever!

今天去看我的好朋友, Sylvaine 的baby~ Sean. 他已經六個月大了, 好可愛呀! 之前有點擔心他會不喜歡我...好彩...他很給我面子!!!! とてもかわい~~~~~I will miss you very much!!!

I went to the Stillwater Spa yesterday with my sister, Shirley and had a great time! It has wonderful environments, great design and relaxing facilities. Jacuzzi, steamroom, sauna, shower room, tea lounge and etc…you name it! The reception said that they have over 13 message rooms, 2 vichy treatment room and so on…seems very nice. Ha ha ha…and guess what? They also uses Spasoft and yes, I do see them overlapping appointments! Therefore, we are not the only one do overlappings.

The facial that I had seems very nice and the Aesthetician was quite experienced! The only thing is that I had the most painful facial experience ever (don’t know why~I had so many pimples grew along my stress line and she had to pop out every single one to clear them out ~ whatever she did was very painful!!!).

I spent a night at the Part Hyatt Toronto last night after my lovely spa experience at the Stillwater Spa. The room facilities seems quite luxury and the bed was quite comfortable. Check-in took no more than 3 minutes (however, a guest was on hold on the phone during the whole time of my check-in). It wasn't a large room but in decent size in downtown Toronto. Perhaps it was a complimentary room, therefore, it wasn't the best but everything seems clean and tidy!

To take advantage of its location, me and my sister took a short walk to the Sushi Time on Bloor. I used to love their special sushi rolls, especially their Sushi pizza and Spider Rolls. Well, its not the same anymore...their rolls were fine but Sashimi was not that good....

24/7 Monopoly City

I'm back from Las Vegas to Toronto, my beloved home! It took me 2 days to recover from the trip and come back to the internet world! Ha ha ha...I still remember I walked up and down the strip many many times and visited every single hotel 2 years ago with my friend Susan. We were there for the F4 Fantasy World tour at the Mandalay Bay. She is really my best shopping partner in the world!

Well, I don't have Susan with me this time but instead I went with my parents and my sister. This was our first time back since 1984. We stayed at the Flamingo Hilton back then. I still remember there were a huge parking lot and a lot of pink fake flamingos in front of the hotel. Where were them? Like playing the monopoly board game, most of the hotels have either extended their size or their casinos or they have built extra towers within its property. Like the Mandalay Bay and Caesars Palace, I am pretty sure that there was only one tower each 2 years ago!!!

Since we were not there for gambling; shopping and eating became our major activities. We stuff ourselves with buffet breakfast every morning and shopped for the rest of the day with no meals. Very unhealthy ah!!! We also rent a car for a half day trip to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets for discounts. I Love shopping in Las Vegas!!!

I went bowling yesterday. Boy, that feels good! I haven’t bowl for a long time and scored an average of 149 in four games…pretty good eh?

Safe arrival~~~

On the day of the 18th morning, I am in Hong Kong. Then after flying 15hrs across, on the evening of the 18th...I am in Toronto. The flight experience with Air Canada was quite good this time! Unlike my previous experience with them, they really did a pretty good job! Service was excellent, flight entertainments were good and the food was okay! I am surprised with the dessert after dinner - HD ice-cream!!! I have no compliant this time with their services!!! (especially I am flying with aeroplan points this time, didn't have to pay ~ heehee).

Being at home feels great! Having my mom cooked dinner is superb! Other than feeling a bit tired from not getting enough sleep...Everything seems perfect! I also noticed that there hasn't been much changes in the house. Home sweet home!

珍惜這個中秋節…

I spent most of my 中秋節 at the airport and on the air. Although it was very tiring but it is worthwhile! I considered this to be very nice and memorable! First, I woke up early to New Town City and made some last minute purchases to bring along with me to Toronto. Then I dragged my 2 heavy, overloaded luggage (packed with discs, magazines, pop cans, moon cakes and Yakults to the A41 bus stop. Got on the bus and went to the airport safetly. Check-in took no more than 5 minutes ~ lucky! Then I started to wonder around a bit and picked up a few more magazine to read on the plane. After I went through custome, I saw a Peninsula booth selling their so call "sold out" moon cakes ~ HK$180/box. Forget it, I already bought the ones from KLN Hotel la…they tasted quite similar anyways. Then as I went up the escalators to my exit gate, I saw 鄭嘉穎 in his baseball cap…好英俊 ah!!!!

Getting close to Full Moon or I got out on the wrong side of the bed!?!

I've had the worst day of all at work yesterday!!! I can't imagine how would life be without computers these days? When the operating programs that you use at work cannot do its proper job, it actually delays your normal operation and creates extra works for you! I also don't understand why do such a 5 star hotel and worldwide chain have an IS department that never knows how to fix error messages and cope with computer failures! That reminds me working at a small hotel instead for Mr. Wu at the Met. Both Mr. Sharpe and him know more than anyone else in the hotel about computers (perhaps graduating from MIT really makes it different!). Whenever the system is down, it doesn't take long for them to fix it and me, as a duty manager, never have to worry about what to do!!!

中秋節

中秋節 is coming up on Sunday. Wish you all a very Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! I am glad that I will be going home to see my family and to have a nice dinner with them. I really missed them a lot since I haven’t had a "home-cooked" dinner for so long ever since I came back to HK. In celebration of that, I also bought a few different kinds of mooncake to bring home for my family! And of course I bought the ones from The Kowloon Hotel! They are my favourite!!!

Its all about pampering...

It really doesn't take much time to spend $$$. Hee hee...I meant to buy myself a PSP the other day. After checking the prices, HK$1980 for a complete set with 32MB memory stick, HK$299 and a game plus it will cost over HK$900 to buy a 1GB memory stick...wah, over HK$3000 for everything! Probably not worth it in the meantime ~ Save HK$3000

But then I went into Sogo to buy make-up powder from KP, don't know how....I end up spending over HK$1000 at that counter, then at Anna Sui....and at Borghese at last ~ Spend over HK$2000!!!

Marathon Run of work b4 my vacation!!!

I am super super sleepy ah!!! It has been a week of torture that I am working 0630hrs and OT of 1 hr and half a day to give training! That is so unfair that I had to cope with these last minutes assignment, reports and training. I am sure I can fall asleep anywhere and anytime. Like today la, I just finishted a Spa Comparison reports for various Spa in HK. Oh my gosh,...time for bed la in which I will have to get up in less than 4 hours! ZzzzZzzz Good night!!!!

1 more, 2 more….yes, only 2 more working day left before my 16days vacation. Hopefully, you won’t miss me too much cuz, I shall be back very soon. But I certainly have missed my family so badly and I can’t promised that I am willing to return….hahahaha.

Time for bed, just finished a long reports on my weakest-link - mathematics!!! Comparisons of prices for various spa wor~~~Oh well, I should change to Marketing department la. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZz….extremely sleepy la.

Tired of hearing HK Disney!!!

Same as a lot of others in HK, I've heard too much about HK Disney and it is getting very annoying to hear more about it! Its on the news on TV and radio, on newspapers and every magazines. When you go to clothing shops, Disney's cartoon characters are on every T-shirts......Mega overloaded la......There are pros and cons. Being a part of the hospitality and tourism industry, I am sure it certainly will help a lot in bring tourist to HK. However, its image is too "local", too small and too crowded.

Well, after not being able to work morning shift for quite sometime, it is certainly nice to work in the mornings again this week! Especially I will have so much to do this week before I fly back to Toronto. Out of the many things to do on my list, I only had 2 done today on my day off. Sorry, I am too lazy...hee hee.....Wait....Let me turn off the TV sin....Its about Disnay again...Chotomatene!!! I went to the bank to get some pocket money to spend for my vacation. I also managed to buy the eyeshadows that Theresia wanted. There are still so much to do....I need to leave on time tomorrow sin....

I need to go to bed la......have to get up early for work tomorrow.......

Aesthetic experience

08.09.05…I had a $1600 facial yesterday! Thanks to Louisa, it is free!!! Part of my benefit of working in spa! Never thought I would like having facials but I think I will start to take facial regularly from now on! The reason behind is that I really notice the difference for my skin before and after the facial! It's never to early to have a lifting facial eh!?! I think it was great! It really wakes my skin, no more tiredness and dullness!

Down to 10 more days for my vacation! Beside being excited about my Vegas trip, now I also look forward for my Spa experience at Still Water in Park Hyatt Toronto. Again, it will be free for me at least! Its a treat from my beloved sister, Shir! Hiphiphoray!

2 weeks (14 days) more

04.09.05…2 weeks from today, in 14 days or the 2ND Sunday after today, I will be home! Home sweet home in Toronto! I will get to celebrate this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with my family, eating Moon cakes with them…um….the most important is that I will get to have good night sleep in my beloved bed!

There is so much to do in just 16 days, a vacation to Las Vegas, change my driving license, visit little Sean (My best friend’s son), catch-up with my friends and family…..oh my gosh…Wahaha…I don’t have to think about work and stuff in HK for 16 days!!!

Hey, I’ve upload more of the photos that we took at Jana’s b-day dinner, check them out yourself. I’ve also included a few of the unclear photos that I’ve taken at Alan Tam’s Concert 2005. I thought I waited 20 years to see his concert but as soon as I sat down, I actually remembered that I’ve once attended his concert in the 80’s. I think it was Carmen’s (my cousin’s) treat! It was such a great show and loved any minute of it, except if I get to sit with a more excited crowd, it would have been much more fun! The bonus of the show was Jacky Cheung being the guest appearance!!!
